Is currently looking for:
The Travel Consultant is responsible to:
  • Key account management
  • Provide customer services: literature and information to clients concerning international tours, travel routes, accommodation, fares, and travel regulations
  • Discuss client requirements and advise on suitable options
  • Plan, prepare and cost itineraries (travel plans) for clients
  • Make travel, accommodation and related bookings: issue tickets for travel, accommodation vouchers and all relevant documentation
  • Collect payments and maintain records of transactions for those clients without credit line
  • Assist with changes to travel arrangements and bookings where required
  • 1-3 years of experience as a travel consultant.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems (Sabre) and e-travel (rebooking, cancelations, etc.)
  • Detailed knowledge of flight and hotel bookings (domestic and international)
  • Fluency in English; additional language is a plus
  • Strong sales skills and commercial awareness
  • Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
  • Strong customer focus
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
  • Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or relevant field
  • Can work with minimum supervision
  • Able to quickly respond to client’s concerns
  • Highly motivated and eager to learn
