DAVAO TUNA GRILL FASTFOOD CORPORATION (DTGFC) is a well-established food retail company that has been in operation in major malls since 1999.
 
Is currently looking for:
 
BRANCH AREA MANAGER
 
Reports directly to the OPERATIONS MANAGER
 
Main Responsibility:
 
1. Manages and supervises the operations of the stores assigned to him/her
2. Is in charge of meeting target sales and costs of stores assigned to him/her
3. Ensures that all stores assigned to him/her meet the highest standards of food quality and service
4. Manages the work of his/her subordinates
5. Keeps staff motivated while disciplining, rewarding and training them
 
Duties:
 
A. Manpower
1. Manages the work assignments and shift schedules of personnel 2. Recommends the hiring, assignment, termination and promotion or personnel 3. Monitors staff performance and submits monthly evaluation of personnel under him/her 4. Trains staff according to the programs/modules designed for each position 5. Relates with mall personnel, engineering and food court managers, for all concerns in food court
operations, marketing and promotions, etc. 6. Coordinates with suppliers and contractors during repairs, deliveries and maintenance requirements
 
B. Machines
1. Checks if all cooking equipment are in good working condition: stoves and burners (blue flame), grillers,  exhaust machines, vending machines, signages, menuboards, lights, grease traps, plumbing etc.; coordinates for repairs, if needed
2. Checks if all cooking utensils and tools as well as serve ware are complete and in good working condition; makes proper requisitions for these, if needed
3. Checks if all cooking equipment and utensils are used properly to prevent damage and to be more efficient in food preparation
4. Inspects the cleanliness of the counter and kitchen at all times to prevent pest and insect infestation
5. Coordinates for repairs needed on equipment such as lights, exhaust, plumbing, gas, electrical operations, POS, CCTV, vending or beverage equipment of the stores
6. Ensures that all menuboards, price tags, standees, advertising materials are updated, have no stickers
and are not faded
7. Equips his/her branches with proper cleaning tools and equipment
 
C. Money and Materials
1. Exerts all efforts in meeting sales and cost targets of branches under him/her
2. Ensures that there is zero or minimal spoilage and wastage of ingredients and supplies in the branches
3. Conducts a thorough cash audit of his/her branches and checks if all the cash in the stores is accounted for
4. Conducts a thorough audit of the stocks inventory to check variances and losses
5. Issues incident report (IR) or memo to explain (MTE) to employee/s who violate company rules
6. Checks cash flow reports for inconsistencies, inaccuracies or incompleteness of entries and attachments
7. Checks if FIFO is observed in the kitchen and that all food safety rules and procedures are observed
8. Regularly checks the quality of the food items by tasting and corrects the taste if not up to standard
9. Ensures the completeness of food display and availability of menu items
 
Competency Requirements:
  • College graduate With at least 5 years of experience in managing a food establishment With basic computer skills
  • Has good communications and organizational skills
  • With knowledge of basic and safety
  • Able to train personnel in food preparation, customer relations, and supervision
He/She will handle our South Area branches (Alabang, Taguig, Makati, Manila, Mandaluyong).
